Open Fireplace Live Wallpaper and make sure the Live Screensaver switch is on, then pick a wait time (1, 3, 5, or 10 minutes). Leave your Mac idle for that long without touching the mouse or keyboard.
Check that "Fire Sounds" is enabled in Fireplace Live Wallpaper and that your Mac isn't muted. Note that macOS mutes audio during the login screen and after certain system events; the sound resumes automatically.

Turn off the live wallpaper and screensaver in the app, then drag Fireplace HD+ from your Applications folder to the Trash. No leftover files remain except your preferences, which you can remove with:defaults delete com.suhangj.fireplacewallpaper
